Day One Hundred and Thirty:
I arrived at school around 9:15. At 9:30, E&M class started
with Haggis. Today Haggis let us work on our projects while he
walked around and helped us. Oskar and I spent about half the
class time working on our passing routine. It is coming along
well, but we have a lot more to work on. The most difficulty we
are having is going from passing 7 clubs on single spins to
having Oskar steal five clubs. The way we are trying it is having
him steal 4 clubs, and then when he has it under control I throw
him a fifth club as soon as he starts crossing his throws. The
main problem we are having is that because I am juggling at the
same time (3 clubs,) It is difficult to assure that I have a club
in the right hand at the correct moment in order to throw, so
often I am throwing a half a beat late. Ideally we would like to
work it out so that oskar goes straight into 5, without the 4
club steal rest-stop. Haggis helped us briefly, but we didn't
really get his undivided attention. Perhaps on Thursday he can
take a closer look. For the second half of the class, I worked on
my Caretake routine. The juggling part of it is getting more
solid. Over the half-term break I am going to really have to
focus on that piece, and get it solid.
At 11:15, it was
time for PT. Today was our last class with John, the young man
who has been teaching us while Bim was in Spain.
